Our History
Our journey began at Reddiyarchatram Arulagam ashram. When I first visited, I was deeply moved by the suffering of people in need. There were children and elderly people with both temporary and permanent diseases, orphans, seniors abandoned by their families, and young people needing education. Witnessing their pain, I felt a strong urge to help. That year, with the support of our small team and generous public donors, we provided basic necessities like groceries, food, clothes, and some financial aid.
Every December, our team would come together, contribute money, and collect donations from friends to help people living on the streets, orphans, tribal communities, and those in hospitals. This annual effort brought us joy, but we knew it wasn’t enough. Our help lasted only for a day or a few weeks, but we remained committed and continued our efforts consistently. We still do today and plan to keep going in the future.
In 2022, we brainstormed ways to expand our support and help more people. One day, an idea struck me: why not ask everyone to donate just one rupee a day? It’s a small amount that anyone, regardless of their financial situation, can afford. I shared this idea with our team and some community members, and they all agreed it was a great and feasible idea.
We decided to formalize our efforts to ensure people could donate with trust and confidence. That’s how “Wait and See Trust” was born and officially registered.

Our Vision
Our vision is to create a world where small acts of kindness lead to monumental changes. We envision a society where every individual contributes just one rupee a day, collectively transforming lives and communities. Through continuous support, we aim to ensure that no one goes without food, clothing, education, or medical care.
Bringing a smile to the faces of those in need, wiping away tears of grief, and replacing them with tears of joy, all through a daily donation of one rupee. Our vision is that every citizen contributes one rupee from their daily earnings to support those less fortunate. This small contribution gives them the joy of helping others, along with the satisfaction of knowing they make a difference, no matter how small, in someone’s life. This will also create a change in society and make everyone realize how their small part makes a bigger difference.
We believe in the power of unity and compassion, and we strive to build a future where generosity and empathy are the cornerstones of our community. By harnessing the strength of small, consistent contributions, we aspire to uplift those in need and create lasting, positive change.
